No. Surforme organizes and synthesizes your health information and surfaces patterns and gaps so you can have better conversations with qualified professionals. It does not diagnose, predict outcomes, interpret scans, or prescribe treatment, and it does not replace your physician or care team.

Ask a chatbot to read your labs and you get a one-time answer you cannot verify. Surforme builds structure around the AI: the insights and priorities in your Portrait either cite the exact signal they rest on or are labeled a hypothesis, and every Portrait runs through automated checks before delivery. Your record, your trends, and your Gap Map keep building over time, stored in Canada and designed around Québec's Law 25. A better AI model makes Surforme better. It does not replace the structure around it.

Neither. Surforme connects your existing data, training, and care into one trusted Portrait. It does not train you, and it does not run a clinical exam. It makes sense of what you already have.

Your health data is stored at rest in Canada, on infrastructure based in Québec, behind strict access controls. Surforme is designed around Québec Law 25 and Canadian PIPEDA. Nothing is shared with a practitioner unless you share it yourself, and you can revoke a practitioner's connection at any time.

Storage stays in Canada. During synthesis, document text is transiently processed under a strict data-processing agreement. Any cross-border processing is disclosed, and happens only with your consent, in line with Law 25 transfer rules. It is never ongoing storage outside Canada.

Only you. Your Portrait stays private behind your account. When you want a practitioner in the loop, you hand them a practitioner-ready summary yourself. Connected practitioners send documents into your record through single-use, time-limited codes, never through open access to your file. Per-section sharing controls are coming.

Currently, Surforme is available to clients in Quebec only, and our data practices are aligned with Quebec's Law 25 privacy framework. Expansion is planned.
